Can good photography effect how well a property sells?

Research by Rex says it can increase traffic to an advert by 40%!

Visiting high street offices has become less common when a buyer begins a property search, now the main method of house hunting is using the online portals and only contacting an agent if there is a house they are interested in viewing. So, first impressions are everything when it comes to your advert.

Your advert is supposed to be helping people decide if they can envision themselves living in your property which is why measurements, floorplans, and high-quality photos are a must!

Not only having great photos makes a difference but also alternating which photos are at the beginning of the advert. One buyer may fall in love with a picture of your kitchen, but another may love the garden, so keeping the photos on a rotation helps ensure more people see something they could love about your home.

Rightmove has also backed up this research saying they have found great photos can attract up to 93% more leads, sell 24 days quicker on average, and achieve a 2% higher asking price.

So when you are deciding on which agent you should use to sell your home make sure you look at their adverts and see which attracts you the most.

Take a look at the example above on how a blue sunny sky can dramatically change how inviting a property looks. We ensure all our homes have the same high-quality photos and even on a dull day make your home shine!

Working from home (WFH) is the norm for many Brits – 26% do it at least some of the time*. But it’s easy to fall into a rut when your domestic and professional lives play out in the same location. When this happens, simple tasks take longer to complete, and your mental health can suffer.

This October, the Haydock property market saw 27 new homes come to market in the past four weeks. However, only 11% of these properties received offers, a noticeable drop compared to previous months.
