Haydock Hikes - Ship Inn to Carr Mill Dam

Here at THINK Estate Agents we want to create a great walking guide for people new and old to our fantastic town. I think it will become a handy guide not only to show people how wonderful it is to live here but also for local people to discover places they may not know about!
This fantastic walk takes you from the Ship Inn Haydock though Stanley Band Wood all the way to Carr Mill Dam. It’s a beautiful route to go on and is mainly flat so should be suited to people of all abilities. I love this walk because of the changing scenery along the route and its perfect for stopping off at a couple of pubs along the way for a drink or even something to eat!
